Airtel — service charge for sim swapping | |||||
Dear consumer complaint forum, I visited to one of the airtel office in banashankari 3rd stage in bengaluru for getting new a sim card as my card was damaged. I was given a new sim card and was told that the new sim will be activated within 4 hours and was told to pay up 25 rupees as service charge. I paid them and asked for a receipt but i was denied a receipt and was told they do not offer any receipt for the 25 rupees. I talked to a couple of them in the store but all of them told the same thing. I asked them i[censored] will get a message from airtel for the charges and they said no. Is this even a good business? I am having my own doubts. I called the customer care and asked about the process and asked if there are any charges and i was told there is a 25 rupees charge but when asked if i will get a receipt, i was told to contact the store itself. Request your kind intervention into this matter and help me understand the process and get me the receipt or my money back. Thank you Sunil aknur Was this information helpful? | |||||
