1.As indicated by Airtel while making payment on 18 May 2022 through NEFT to pay Rs. 1000/- when my recharge amount was 589/- which I paid and which was also acknowledged by Airtel and showed a credit balance of Rs. 411/- against my account. Subsequently on 30 May 2022 my fibernet wifi connection was disconnected saying that since I had not paid the recharge amount it has been disconnected. Since I had already paid and which was duly acknowledged by Airtel I found it very strange that the service was disconnected. I felt insulted and immediately requested Airtel that I am not interested with their service and advised to permanently disconnect and refund my amount after adjusting the unused portion of the rent along with my credit balance of Rs. 411/- lying with them for which the company has neither informed me about the settlement nor at which stage the case is pending.
2.I have taken a DTH TV cable connection and was paying an amount of Rs.518/- per month towards the recharge regularly. However, since I had to go out of station for almost a month and the house would be empty I had not got my cable recharged. I returned to Hyderabad on 30 June and as per the advise of Airtel I had paid an amount of Rs.518/- + Rs. 15/- (for the period from 01 July to 31 July 2022)as service charges. However, there were no programmes from 9.00 PM on 05 July 2022. I had contacted the concerned staff and I was told that I have to pay the charges towards replacement and service charges. I would like to mention here that the dish and cable connection was done by Airtel staff and I have not even seen where it has been installed since I reside in a 25 floor building apartment. I had refused to pay any mounts towards replacement and labour charges because as per my understanding it is the duty of the service provider to oversee that the fittings and installation are safe and working. In view of the foregoing and as indicated at para 1 I felt that the service provider were looting the innocent customers, hence I decided and advised the Airtel to to disconnect my cable connection and charge me the propionate amount for 5 days (from 01 July to 05 July 2022) and pay me the difference.
I request to submit that I am 69 years old and retired Government official and it is very difficult for me to keep calling the Airtel for the very frequent problems I am facing. I sincerely solicit your kind intervention as I found that the management does not seem to be bothered about the service being provided by a bunch of people who are not concerned and incompetent in discharging their duties.
