Airtel — Sim delivery agent taken money without delivering sim

Hello sir/ ma'am,

This is to bring in your notice that I have been cheated for prepaid sim delivery.

I ordered prepaid sim 20th February on Airtel Thanks App, after which I received a call from [protected], saying then he will send his delivery guy with the sim.

Om Monday 27th February the prepaid sim was delivered to me by the agent mobile no. [protected].

He took my driving licence copy. And 500 rs. And said sim will get activated within 48 hours..

Even after 48 hours when sim didn't get activated I called him, he simply said your dl got rejected. You have to take new sim. I'll come on Friday with new sim you give adhar card this time.

When I told him you return the money I'll buy sim card from store it self. He said OK. Evening I'll come and return.

Since then he is not picking up the phone.

I called customer care they said its not their department. They can't help me. I need to keep contacting that guy.

This is just fraud airtel is doing in the name of sim card delivery.

I want my money back. Even if 500 rs only.
