Airtel — sim swap 2g to 4g charges 30 rs but still not activated my sim | |
1. Visited airtel office near varuna bridge, varanasi on 9th june 2020 for upgrade of sim 2g to 4g on the request of airtel at about 1:00pm. 2. They charged me 30 rupees where as the airtel claims that it's free. 3. On coming home got a sms that document validation failed and asked me to contact the point of sale again without telling me what's wrong or else i would have gone there prepared. 4. Reached again at 5 pm same, they tried again but it got rejected again with the sms "dear alok singh, validation of sim swap documents for airtel mobile no. [protected], with sim no.[protected]u could not be completed successfully. For more details, contact your point of sale from where simswap was taken or the nearest airtel store." 5. They asked me to visit again with new i'd proof. 6. I went again the next day i. E on 9th june 2020. The shop was closed due to corona virus guidelines even odd rules. 7. I called the guy over phone asked me why he didn't not inform me about the shop close thing. He said its assumed that you would know. 8. So i went again today i. E 10th june 2020 and again came empty handed. 9. My phone is close and the number is mentioned at all other important places. 10. I complained at [protected]@in. Airtel.com, and nodal officer of east u. P but no response. 11. Kindly press them to resolve my matter or else i will be forced to file complain with penalties.
