Airtel — sms services on my postpaid connection | |||||
I have taken a duplicate sim card on[protected] as the sim i have been using for the past 2 years wore out. I was told that my sms services would be active after 24 hours. But, till date (09/15/2017), i am unable to send or receive messages. I have raised concerns with all possible types of escalation levels at airtel, but no single person is able to get my problem addressed. I have three complaint numbers (Srs) registered, that were claimed to be of highest priority at airtel on 05-sep-17, 12-sep and 15-sep as follows: 79229974, 79513665, 79418712, each claiming to have an sla of 24 hours each, to no effect. The biggest concern is that i am not even able to port my number to another network, as that would require me to send an sms and receive a confirmation number. It hurts me a lot as i have become helpless with all my online transactions stopped (Since they would require an otp), no single soul working at airtel willing to help me and no hope of continuing my existing number on any other network. As I recharged to talk with customer care suddenly airtel people deducted amount from my main balance And you people charge for making call to customer care .Highly disappointed me they don't even msg and call for what reason they deducted money from my account.
