Airtel — status of porting request for porting number from postpaid to prepaid | |
I am currently having an airtel postpaid connection with rs. 499 monthly rental plan. I had given a request on 06.02.2018 for porting my postpaid connection to prepaid connection. In this regard a local reference's mobile number was sought for verification which was duly provided. However, today i received a message stating that "dear customer, verification with your local reference for airtel mobile [protected] could not be completed successfully. Your request for new activation has been closed." On enquiring with my local reference i was informed that he never received any such verification call. I have already raised a complaint regarding the undue hardship caused to me for porting my postpaid connection to prepaid. Please clarify the status of my request at the earliest.
