[Resolved] Airtel — Took payment online & in cash but not providing invoices and also not installing connection | |||||
Dear sir, I bought new airtel broadband connection on 31st may 2016 from airtel portal for sector-45 location gurgaon of rs1399/- per month plan and also did online payment of rs1000 for buying this plan online but i got call from airtel executive (Contact no.[protected]) on 31st may 2015 and he said that airtel has changed all plan scheme but they are not updated on airtel portal and you need to pay rs1600/- more in cash to airtel for new connection payment in spite of rs1000/- which i paid online while doing payment for new connection online. Then we handovered required documents & rs1600/- cash payment to airtel 3rd party execuitve who visited my office by verifying airtel code which i got on my contact no. From airtel but till 06th june 2016 i called lots of time but airtel executive didnot picked my call and still i am waiting for airtel invoice on my registered mai id. Airtel took rs1000/- online payment and rs1600/- cash payment and all required documents but as a customer i didnot get any invoice and nobody is picking my call. Airtel sent me a message that on 2nd june we will come for installation of airtel connection but still nobody came for installation and also i didnot get any invoice or cash payment confirmation and moreover nobody is picking my call. I visited website and used online source but didnot get any customer service no. Where i can raise my issue and airtel employee is not picking my call from last many days. Same thing happen with me yesterday afternoon a guy came took the money in cash when i asked for invoice he told that Avinash will send it on your mail.
The executive name is Avinash says he is from airtel and sits in Udyog Vihar. He also mentioned that this 1600 is refundable in two part, 1st in first bill and 2nd when i surrender the connection because they will provide a wireless hand set for calling.
Also he was assuring that he will make sure that the connection will be installed by evening.
I think this is fishing, but most important thing is how he came to know that i was trying to make an online payment on airtel. Because he called me after submitted the form online and waiting for the payment he also knew my address which i entered in the form.
I think airtel must give an answer to this as how he can have the details of person applying the connection.

My payment was done on 25th May and still waiting for a connection or refund.
Airtel should be answerable for this and should take immediate action to identify such frauds and make sure to either refund or give the service to customers who were cheated by their authorized persons, with whom they share the confidential information of their customer
