[Resolved] Airtel — Unauthorized Deduction of Amount | |||
Hi, Today I had a balance deduction of Rs.80 on my balance because of few anonymous services that were auto activated/renewed without my knowledge or intervention. When I called up the customer care 121 I had to wait for 10 minutes to speak to a Supervisor which was of no use. I straight away asked them for an explanation on the deduction of amount, the Supervisor told me that the amount was deducted as a part of some unknown online subscription from a third party and they cannot help it. But, I am very sure that I haven't opted for any such service and this happened for the second time in 2 days. They were just repeating the same information over and over again. So, I wanted to escalate the issue further as the Supervisor neither escalated the issue nor was ready to reimburse the amount deducted without my consent. Meanwhile the remaining balance I had was deducted as a part of the call charge i.e. 50p per 3 minutes and I asked him for a call back which he denied saying they do not have an option to do that. Now that my account is on 0 balance, without any help received, I am lodging a complaint hoping my issue gets resolved. Note : I have recorded the conversation on phone.
