[Resolved] Airtel — Unnecessary deduction of charges | |||||
I am a prepaid mobile phone user with Airtel from over 2 years now. I recharged my phone accidentally for Rs.244/- which allowed unlimited Airtel to Airtel calls and 1GB 4G internet daily for 60 days. I had been recharging for Rs. 349/- earlier which gave unlimited local+STD call and 1 GB 4G internet daily for 28 days. Since it was an honest error I did not complained about it. However from last 20 days Airtel has been charging me for data services. I complained once and explained them that they were incorrectly charging me for data when they refunded Rs.90/- and I told them that there is a problem and if I enabled data I would be charged again but they said it wouldn't happen . They also mentioned that I didn't had a 4G handset/sim hence might have been charged but both the SIM and the phone are 4G enabled as the same services had been working for over 6 months now. Post that I have tried using net and have even posted screen shots of the data charges and the data availability on Facebook too but not touch relief. I have yet lost over 100/- to data charges though I still had and have data pack available. Hoping the team @ consumer complaints would be able to assist. Was this information helpful? | |||||
