[Resolved] Airtel — upgrading and overcharging of internet plan | |||
I had a prepaid plan of airtel landline as well as internet connection no.[protected] for which i had paid advance rental. After the plan expired without any verbal consent or asking me airtel upgraded my plan from 399/ rs per month plus taxes to a 799/ rs per plus taxes per month. As i recived the reminder to pay the amount for which i never signed a document ever or gave any verbal consent i called up at airtel as any responsible citizen would on 31st october 2019 and had a lengthy disscussion with kirti sachdeva at gurgaon call centre bearing interaction id:[protected] And explained the whole matter. I was assured that all my dues which were wrongly made in my account will be waived off as i had never agreed to switch plans or agreed to a upgrade and not even for continuing any plans. Then i was offered a 599/rs per month plus taxes postpaid plan with a discount of 50rs every month which will be a net total of 648/rs per month all inclusive to which i agreed. Now airtel has billed me with 599/rs per month plus taxes and have not given a discount of 50rs. Also they have billed me for the the upgraded plan to which i never agreed and now have disconnected my internet connection. I want a very strong action to be taken against airtel for harassment and mental tension which they have given. Almost 5 times a day they call me upnto deposit the bill which i do not owe them. All this is really frustrating and wastes a lot of time. No matter wherei am and what time of thw day it is airtel calls up. It is really creating a lot of tension in my personal as well as professional life and it is actually the non synchronisation of intra airtel department tjat i need to explain the matter again and again as if i am some kind of a criminal.
