Airtel — Urgent: Unauthorized Postpaid Plan Activation and Service Disruption

Address: Thane, Maharashtra

In the Airtel Thanks app, there's an upgrade option to switch from prepaid to postpaid. I clicked the link to check postpaid plans, but instead of showing any plan details, a plan was activated without my consent, and I was informed that it would be a monthly plan of 449. I contacted the Airtel team to cancel the request, as no amount or details about the plan were shown to me beforehand. They canceled the plan, but the prepaid validity, which was supposed to last until December 2025, has now been deactivated. To continue using the service, I am required to do a fresh recharge. This feels like a scam from Airtel. How can they activate a postpaid plan without displaying the plan details? Currently, I am unable to use my card for calls, even though I recharged for 365 days
