Airtel — want to get back my mobile number | |||
I have been using Airtel mobile number (protected) for almost 10 years. This mobile number is linked to my Aadhar card, LIC, bank account, Tax return filing, business card. I distributed this number to my friend in India and aboard last few years. In Jan, 2017 I have converted from 3G to 4G connection and came to know the validity of the SMI is lifetime. Airtel verified my digital identity from given Aadahar card. I have come to China for my job from March, 2018 and kept the mobile on with me. I used to get my messages in China. In past few weeks, I did not receive any message to this number. Last week, I have checked the problem and surprised to know that Aritel has issued the same mobile number to someone else in India. I communicated to Airtel customer care. They informed me that they have deactivated my SIM due to no payment. From the tracking of my SIM, Airtel can easily find that the SIM is in abroad. Why Airtel was so hurry on issuing this particular mobile number to someone else in India. Airtel did not inform me about cancellation of my mobile number and did not sent any mail to my permanent address what is mentioned on my Aadhar card. I am in abroad. My private informations, including bank informations are going to the Airtel new customer who is using my mobile number. I have communicated and requested Airtel customer care to return back the same number to me many times. But they did not give me any solution for this issue.
