Airtel — wrong billing of international roaming charges and poor customer service | |||
Dear concerned, I have faced this issue recently when i have traveled to thailand between the 1st and 5th of may 2019. I had visited their store in btm layout 2nd stage before my visit and have enquired about the packages. I have specifically told them i wouldn't be needing the service as i found the same to be expensive. But i was shocked to see the bill generated with the charges and they are now justifyimg the charge stating that i have used 378 mb and the charges are valid because the roaming gets auto activated. How can they auto activate without my authorization was my question for which there has been no response. Added to this, i have other issues with airtel as listed below; 1. I have been having coverage issues because of which im unable to consume 10% of the total data allowed as a part of my plan. I have been complaining since 2 years without any response. 2. They have suddenly stopped sending bills on my mail id since jan '19. 3. If i have not been able to use their services due to coverage issues it is their mistake for which they have to refund the bills paid in the last 2 years deducting my actual usage.
