Airtel — wrong inflated billing | |||
My mobile number is [protected]. Since i was travelling from 1st may '18 till 31st may '18 to toronto, canada with my daughter, i took only one month international roaming package of inr3999 + gst from airtel for the above mentioned dates. I boarded the flight back on 31st may'18 from toronto and came back to bangalore, india on 2nd june '18 morning. Upon reaching bangalore, i made the payment for the billed amount. Since the package was for only one month, it should have been deactivated by airtel people on 31st as per my request. Without my consent, they renewed the plan again for the month of june, on their own and charged me again the same amount. Upon receiving the bill amount message for rs, 5520.28 again on 02.07.18, i was shocked and surprised and complained to the airtel company on their customer care number on the same day and asked them to reverse these charges for the services which i have not utilized and which is purely their fault of renewing the roaming charges package without my consent, they clearly expressed their inability to do the same and asked me to pay up for the services which i have not asked for and nor utilized as i was in india from 2nd june and it is clear from my call history after 2nd. June that i have made only local calls. I am also attaching herewith my travel tickets and other documents as proof. I am middle class housewife and they are asking me to pay my hard earned money of such a huge amount for the services which i have not used at all. Please help Was this information helpful? | |||
