I am an airtel mobile data user for more than a year. this month, i recharged for different recharge amount of rs.22 and rs.123 (night time data 12am-6am). to my surprise, 2 new data accounts got created instead of crediting the 3g data to my existing 3g account balance. airtel customer service informed me that to use night-time data account balance, i need to restart my phone after 12am and the night-time account balance would be used automatically. but, the night time balance is getting incorrectly deducted from my day-time 3g account. i have raised this concern to customer service, nodal as well as appellate authorities who are not addressing the issue. they are neither crediting back my lost balance nor do they have any resolution of how to use my night-time account balance. airtel is cheating me of my money as i have recharged and have the data balance but unable to use it. this night-time account also has an expiry date. the calls and messages from airtel just mention that the recharge data balance has been credited to my account but the problem is that this account balance is not getting used. there is no way for me to switch to the night time account and airtel is not switching to it automatically after 12am.
