Amazon India — bad customer support and beware of courier agent of amazon. | |||
Hello amazon, I have been a fan of amazon, but this particular incident has shaken the confidence. I had ordered shoes and since it did not fit well, i raised a return request, a amazon courier guy came to pick up the shoes and he did not give ack receipt. He said that an sms will be sent on registered mobile about ack, but instead i got an sms for reschedule of pick up. However, next day another guy came to pick up, and we informed him that the shoes have already been picked up. This continued for 3 consecutive days and finally, the amazon portal shows that ordered has yet not picked up. I immediately informed amazon customer care that this would be a malicious case since, i do not have ack receipt, nor sms, plus the guy told us to keep the box and he took brand new shoes and put it in bubble wrap of amazon. Since then, i called up multiple times once a week since 3 weeks and there is no reliable action/response from amazon india, accept a new eta of 3-4 days. Neither i have the shoe, nor i have my money. I have done 2 calls, 2 chats and 1/2 emails and still amazon is not sure about the status. Btw i have a prime membership and this is the wonderful amazon experience. The whole relationship with amazon since start of amazon in india was very good, but now i will have to be extra careful, after losing 1500 inr/- Amazon customer service is no longer reliable and its time to go back to flipkart i guess.
