Amazon India — Broken product and rude customer support | |
To whomsoever it may concern
This is regarding purchase of Phillips air fryer from Amazon. Com, online and delivery of a broken product.
The product was not packed properly and on reaching destination it was found broken.
The customer was harassed for a long while for filing a report. It was mentioned that the product will be returned as per the company policy and the amount will be reimbursed.
There was inaction for a long while. On stating strongly for the same complaint we were assured that the needful will be done shortly along with inclusion of a compensation for client harassment.
Several assurances followed, each time assuring to expedite without any deliverance of the promises made by senior executives of the company.
Later after many phone calls it was conveyed that they were unable to take any action as there partner company FedEx was not supporting them and the client may go ahead and file an official complaint in consumer forum if desired.
And now they have directly threatened that they are unable to do anything even after the whole payment is made and we may go ahead and do anything we want.
We look forward for your kind assistance and oblige.
Please find attached the broken product pictures, the original bill and the return policy form issued by the company to the client.
