Amazon India — defective product sent and now refusing hand to hand replacement | |||||
I had purchased Lenovo Z2 plus from Amazon sale on dated 9.08.2017 and got delivered and duly made payment on dated 13.08.2017. When I tested the phone than observed that voice is crackling while receiving call as well top left corner touch is not as good responsive as other part of screen, I have to made several effort to touch left corner top to get job done. The main problem is with voice crackling and not clear, regarding this on dated 14.08.2017 I have made complaint to Amazon C. Care though he was quite helpful, however, regretfully informed me that their is no policy of pick & drop and I have to return my phone first and thereafter few days new phone would delivered to me. It was not acceptable as I already sold my old phone and now don't have any addition phone for use meanwhile as well its quite difficult to live without phone now-days. Now, I am at quite confusing situation whether have to live with defective phone or bring it to service center and opened a brand new phone for repair. This also not acceptable when their is already a 15 days replacement policy of Amazon. On other hand, similarly once my brother received defective phone from Flipkart and got replaced thru pick & drop policy. I don't understand why Amazon is hesitating to such policies at-least for mobile phones. Was this information helpful? | |||||
