[Resolved] Amazon India — didn't receive the refund amount | |
I returned a damaged mobile to amazon on 14th oct from dtdcto amazon. The courier was delivered to amazon on 16h oct, but my refund was not initiated. When i called to amazon customer service, i come to know the receipt which i shared was having incorrect tracking number. Then i got an updated receipt from the dtdc vendor and shared the same receipt to amazon on 21st oct. Then amazon people started investigation from their end regarding this and they posted me an update on 29th oct as the mobile was not present in the package when it reached to their returns hub and some other product was there instead. Then i reached out dtdc people and i got couple of proofs from them as the product was reached safely. I shared those proofs with amazon customer service and requested the similar kind of proofs from amazon as the product was not present in the package. But i didn't receive the proper response from the customer service and they are simply saying as 'it is an internal process and we cannot share those details with customers'. Now i would like to know where the issue happened and want get my refund amount. Here i attached the dtdc receipt. Kindly assist me on this. Verified Support Jan 15, 2020 Amazon India Customer Care's response Ref No. 6455We have perused the complaint received from Mr. Raghu Chowdary ("Complainant") and find that he had purchased one Samsung Galaxy M30s (Pearl White, 6GB RAM, Super AMOLED Display, 128GB Storage, 6000mAH Battery) ("Product"), from the independent third party seller, i.e., Savex Technologies Private Limited ("Seller") on the website: www.amazon.in ("Website") and has requested for refund of the amount paid. Basis the information received from the independent third party Seller, the Complainant did not return the Product which was originally delivered to him. It is stated that the Seller initiates refund only receipt of the product originally delivered. Hence, the refund was denied to the Complainant. Further, it is submitted that our role is limited to that of an intermediary and we are not the seller/manufacturer of the products listed on our Website. The products listed on our Website are sold by independent third party sellers. In view of the above, the issue stands closed. | |
