Amazon India — not getting my refund to bank account | |||||
Hello, This is mrunal gadkari, i ordered nokia 6 from amazon dated 23rd aug 2017 costing 15000 rs. Later on i found problems in the mobile phone and hence i returned the purchase after 3-4 days. I got my refund too, in the amazon paybalance (My actual mode of payment for the order) I called customer care amazon to check if there is any possibility to have my pay balance amount to my bank account, because my actual mode of payament was paybalance only. And i was assured not only once but several times that for the amount above 5000 rs, can be transferred to bank account by raising a tt (Ticket at customer care). And hence i raised a ticket. And after that chased thrice but didn't get any feedback. Now after chasing them for 2 weeks am getting a feedback that its not possible to have the paybalance transferred to bank account. The refund is done to actual mode of payment only. Now my pain area is, that if this was clearly told to me in beginning only, then i would not have wasted my so much time. Due to this fake assurance that the paybalance can be transfered to bank account, i came so far and wasted so much of time. Regards, Mrunal gadkari Was this information helpful? | |||||

Currently in Amazon India, there is no option available to transfer the Amazon Pay balance back to the bank account.
This is available in few countries only. ( for eg : Amazon USA )
You can utilize the money by purchasing the items within the validity of Amazon Pay balance.
And yes, I think the costumer care executive had given you wrong info. ( Sometimes the Voice Executive had no idea about their company policy )
As for the future issues, you should prefer marking email first instead of speaking over phone, as it will be a written proof.
