Amazon India — Outdated / Substandard Product Shipped - Amazon Not Accepting the Same, return claimed within 10 days | |||
I had placed a order for Philips Avent Product worth Rs. 13, 000/- from Amazon Indian E- commerce platform on 28th Jul’ 15. The product arrived on 13th/14th Aug’ 15 and was in one of the worst condition. The package was received by my parents. The actual box was seems to be opened earlier and the inside material were also not packed properly. This look like that we have been given an outdated/out of stock and very old material. Some of the items look dirty too as if it has been years or someone had already used the product. We immediately initiated for a claim as per Amazon A to Z Guarantee within 10 days of receiving the product on 18th Aug’ 15. But instead of taking back the product the website asked us to send pics of the product within 3 business working days, which we couldn’t do. Now when we re-initiated the claim process and sent the pics to Amazon, the company has denied the claim. We haven’t used the product as this will have adverse affect on our new born baby.
