[Resolved] Amazon India — Pathetic service | |
Greetings, I am writing this mail with utter disappointment and anger. My name is Ajmal and presently residing in UAE. I had ordered a tapered jeans in your website. Since I only have NRI account and am presently out of country, I ordered it through my friend's account and debit card. He choosed debit card payment option as the item cost Rs.6000 and cod was not available. Once he placed the order it shown successfully placed. But after 1 day he got a mail says its cancelled. So he again placed the order with debit card, and got the same confirmation. The order no is[protected] But after 2 days he received another mail by saying again it got cancelled. But this time the money is deducted from his account. So I called your customer care yesterday and I talked to Mr. Murali yesterday. I explained to him the situation, but he couldn't trace the problem. His suggestion was to place another order with cod option. And surprisingly cod was possible this time. And again he couldn't give a satisfactory explanation for that too. And the most funniest part is he cannot trace the ASIN B01LYW7HZ4. He said he couldn't trace that item in its system. I think amazon have to do some serious work on its backend. Any how my friend again placed the order with cod. And the order no is[protected] Today he called me again and said now both orders are processed and money also deducted. So i again called your ccustomer care. But the responds were highly unprofessional and irritating. One Ms.Deepa attend the call and she said she can't do anything with order no and she needs complete details. I don't understand then what is the purpose of an order no. Since her reply was not satisfactory, i requested her to transfer the call to a higher authority and she transferred it to her leadership team. Ms.Santoshi attend the call this time and she was also needed the complete details. And she said she can't see the order no[protected]. This is the most weird experience i ever had. Your system can't trace the no you generated. And who employed her in customer service? She doesn't even know how to talk with customers. You can check the call recordings as you claim you do for quality purposes. I am a regular ecommerce customer. I am shopping from asos, myntra and also fromamazon.com. You have to learn from all of them, especially from myntra your immediate competitor. I am one of their premium customer. My experience with amazon.in is really awful. I need to get cancelled one of my order if both are generated. Please cancel cod then. If you can't give me reply with in 24 hours cancel my order. Irrespective of you reply to this or not i won't shop with amazon.in again. I can get the same from amazon.com which is better in anyways. Ajmal Was this information helpful? | |

I'm sorry for the inconvenience which has been caused to you. However, I see that you're referring to an order which is placed in a different account. In the interest of securing your Amazon.in account, we can only make account and order changes when we confirm that the request is from the account holder. Therefore, I request you to contact from the account in which the order was placed.
However, since the order # 406-4372725-1236310 and order # 404-4130933-0269139 have been provided. The resolutions for them have been sent to their respective email addresses.

Now I will consult with my friend whether he received any mail regarding to this. Any way what I understood from their reply is that they are suggesting to call their cs team rather mailing to them. But I don't want to do that. I tried thrice and they couldn't even track the order no which by the way generated their own system. And also they didn't even trace the ASIN. I only asked them to track the status of my order and their cs team is helpless on that..pathetic. Amazon India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |
