Apple India — IPhone 6- extended warranty

I spoke a gentleman named Manish on 30/11 to sort my extended warranty on my iPhone 6 which got expired on 29/11. I explained him very clearly that I was on official trip that's why I was unable to visit the service centre and neither able to call them. Manish advised me that he will check with the concern department and get back to me. After keeping me hold for more then 15mins he came back with an apology that they would not be able to extend the warranty because as per them am calling them after 2 days. I requested him to speak with the concern department again if something can be done as it's a very genuine reason and if possible let me speak to them because I want to use the same phone for another 1 year and moveover it's 64 GB. He again put my call on hold and after 20 mins he apologised and advised that he has checked with 3 different departments but everyone has denied to extend the warranty. I thanked him for his hardwork and requested to speak with the concern department, however; he clearly denied that the concern department has denied to take the call as they cannot do anything. I got really pissed that how can they say No to customer and requested to speak to some higher authorities. He again put my call on hold for 10mins and advised that his Manager will call me back within 15-20 mins. I waited entire day but have not received any call, which is a big disappointment from such a reputable company like APPLE. I was expecting a very quick and affective resolution but I was mistaken.
