Without my permission or any kind of prior intimatation, Axis Bank is charging or rather looting my money from my account under "TIPS/SCG/NON MCC/23.05.22/Uphold".
While making this international online payment, using my Axis Bank Debit Card to the vendor, I was already charged a hefty amount as conversion charges and axis bank markup charges, in addition to one of the highest conversion rates in the market. So, it is totally unfortunate and pathetic that you slap an additional amount as "TIPS/SCG/NON MCC".
I have a salary account with Axis Bank.and Already you are charging so much money throughout the year, under all sorts of categories like maintenance charge, service charge, ATM usage charge, debit card charge and what not! Then why do you charge for such individual transaction as well?
To add to all that your customer service team is mostly useless and you have limited their operational hours when an important service like banking is expected to have a 24/7 human support line, because your AI support is even worse and outright pathetic.
Axis bank services have been really unacceptable, of late. I want to know about the issue, as well as get the refund !
