I have a salary a/c in axis bank trivandrum branch, as informed by bank while opening the account debit, credit & demat account were free of cost & no charges will be levied on them as it is a salary account. Today (4th april 2020) i got a sms from axis bank informing that rs-885 has been debited from my account for consolidated dp charges. But i didn't buy / sell any stocks from this a/c, so why this dp charged? I demand proper justification with all brake up of dp charge from axis bank. I have been traumatised by constant messages from BSE and NSE saying that Axis Securities has intimated a negative balance on my DEMAT account of Rs 885. This when I have not done absolutely no transactions in the past 10 or so years. I was sent a link to pay the amount. I paid because I was terrified of the mail's. I request you to reimburse this amount and to close my DEMAT account DP No:[protected]. The entire experience has left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Appalling way to make extra money from your customers, Axis Securities. I will never entertain this bank ever again.
