Axis Bank — Complaint regarding note retained in Cash Deposit Machine

Sub: Request to recredit the Amount of Rs.1000/- - Deducted in Cash Deposit Machine as Retained Notes.

I am having a Current Account in your existing bank in the name and style of WELCOME DTP CENTRE. I have been operating the same for the past ten years at Thiruvottiyur Branch. I regularly used the Cash Deposit Machine located at Thiruvottiyur Branch ATM. On 22.02.2021, I deposited Rs.18000/- as Five Hundred Rupees notes in that machine. But I got credited the amount of Rs.17500/- only and I got a receipt mentioning that a note is retained. (Serial No.0FA669538. After 3 Days I got a mail from noreply-paypro.[protected]@axisbank.com with content "PAID AGAINST DUE BILLS" I waited to credit the retained note of 500 rupees. But till now I didn't credit the same.

In this connection, Again I deposited Rs.12000/- by today, Again I get a receipt mentioning a note is retained (Serial NO. 5s?144285). I am shocked and I wondered, for the past 10 years I have been using the CDM at thiruvottiyur branch and I didn't get the experience like this.

I request you to kindly credit the amount Rs.1000/-, which have been deducted as retained notes at the earliest please. For your very kind reference, I herewith attached both of the receipts.
