Axis Bank — credit card bill payments | |||
I am writing this with regards to my credit card bill payment. My credit card number is [protected] with axis bank. I recently checked my credit report wherein a bill of amount rs. 8083 is reflecting on the current balance and status showing as written-off status. This card was opened on 01/10/2010 in mumbai. Post expiry date of my card i had contacted nearest branch borivali branch, mumbai to know my outstanding but could not get the amount payable as the card had expired and bank personal were unable to fetch the details from credit card department of their bank and hence as per them paid the outstanding which they asked me as per the previous due they could figure out from their system since last 2years i have shifted to pune and one fine day in the month of feb 2018 got a call from the bank that an outstanding amount of rs 6000 had accumulated since my last payment made post card expiry. Although they still not sure of the exact amount i decided to pay the amount in 2 installment and paid rs 3000 on 23/02/2018 and requested them to check on appropriate outstanding and let me know before i pay my next installment and post which they never turned up with the requisite details after the month of feb. Now yesterday again when i checked my cibil report this amount has now again creeped up to rs 8083 at an interest rate of 35% and rs 900 interest is getting levied month on month since then till date. I have another hdfc credit card and if you check the history i had been very prompt in the payments. To maintain a good credit history i have always been prompt with payments. This is to inform you that i cannot pay this amount as my family has fallen under hard time in recent months, but we do want to settle this in a fair and just manner so that you can have the money you deserve and we can be relieved of the burden of owing you this debt. I can be able to give 25% of my debts i. E rs2000. If agree to settle with this amount, i shall be clearing their dues within the next 5 business days. More than 25% is not affordable for me in the present situation. I am ready to settle this as soon as i get the confirmation from your side. Please know that i have appreciated the patience and professionalism that your staff has given in this process, and that this correspondence has been sent.
