Axis Bank — Credit card billing issue | |||||
I had an axis bank [protected] before 3 years. I had cleared all outstanding amount and stopped using this credit card (Please refer june2014. Pdf). Now, in april 2015 axis bank issued new credit card [protected] and i did not receive this card. Courier company had destroyed this credit card as per axis bank records. Bank charged me 112/- rupees for this new credit card and after one year with interest this amount is 8, 300/- rupees as on 27th may 2016. (Please refer apr2015. Pdf) I did not receive this card and bank records also says the same. I have met your officer at pride house, pune center and he gave me below statements Please clear my outstanding amount of the credit card and clear cibil records. I have already shared my concern to [protected]@axisbank.com but didn't get any reply. Can you please have a look into this case and advice me about next step I should take?
Basically, bank is asking for charges of a credit card which I didn't reqeuest nor I received it or used it. Bank itself destroyed that card and now asking me 8k.
I am really helpless and frustrated. Don't what should I do? Why should I pay charges in this case? Should I consult any higher authority?
Please help me out.

This complaint is for settlement which I had to register because Axis Bank left me no other choice. Bank is adding a lot charges 112 amount has became 8300 now. Do I have any other option than settling?? My card is blocked now. So, cant request refund.
I don't know why I am paying this much. Bank didn't call me regarding renewal charges until charges became 8k which were initially only 112 rupees. I haven't even got this credit card. This is really unfair to charge me 8k. Atleast bank should have told me about these charges earlier.
It's like bank waited just to increase the amount. Please sir close my credit card. I had paid all charges of credit card before renewal.

Complain to to the banking Ombudsman, to resolve the fraud.
