[Resolved]  Axis Bank — credit card limit merge and unauthorized charges

Hi my name is sthitipragnya dash. One 16th february 2020 axis bank merged my credit limit to -420000 of all my 4 cards without any intimation given to me at all! I was all through paying the bills on time and was using my credit cards since 2017 all 4 cards are from axis bank. I called up the board line number and the axis bank customer care almost 18 to 20 times, wrote several emails to their support team but i was not responded at all. I spoke to the escalation desk nandini from hyderabad she harassed me further refusing to give me any reason sighting its "bank's descretion". I then asked my branch in kandivali to get in touch with the team, they got in touch with the product team and they only said the customer has to pay! For a whole month i grappled into how do i suddenly arrange for funds because if the bank had to merge the credit limits why would it then not do it before giving me the cards? I mean they gave me the latest card and within a month all 4 limits were merged leaving me completely stuck with how to make the payment! I wrote to the principle nodal officer as well the nodal officer but no one has bothered to reply nor help or explain. I also was a victim to such sudden limit merges in july 8 2018 and september 22 2019 when i got my second and third card from the bank where they suddenly merged the limit to -128000 an -197000. On calling the bank the customer care raised a request number and i had email records thankfully saved but no one had an answer and then suddenly the limits de merged! However this time what happened was a huge nightmare because they trapped me after allowing me to use the cards in individual limits, refused to help me consolidate the amount to be paid, adding various hidden charges and even the minimum dues shot up owing to 45 or 48 thousand rupees a month.

I requested them to help me in consolidating the debt since they had merged the limits and consolidated without telling me despite my good payment history. But now somehow i paid of 383000 to the 4 cards and despite my request to shut my one card ending 5361 after paying the full amount penny by penny they have charged me with rs 2123 of acceleration!!! How blood sucking and miserable they are!

Besides on my card ending 7873 i paid full bill amount of 169000 and they have still charged me a huge rs 4388 debit interest out on no where!!!

Thirdly my card ending with 7878 the bill amount is 57464 after paying rs 50000 where the minimum due should be rs 2873 max they have put a minimum due of rs12134!!!

My credit limit on the statements differ from the mobile app and after a month long harassment no replies, no help i have no other way but to write down my details here because this is a kind of a scam where bank allows you with individual limits and after you use them suddenly merges to scam you with excess charges and doesn't even tell you the reason! Please i beg for help and action.

The images i have posted are when it went to -406000 and it kept increasing to -420000 or so and chaotic fluctuation.

Besides i also have the screenshots of 2018 when it went to -128000 but the "axis bank escalation desk" phone banking nandini says we dont have any records and you only had one card! To which i said please allow me to email you the conversation of july 2018 because two cards i had and it automatically corrected itself back but the axis bank team is in complete denial and confusion further making a ruckus of my charges and extorting me.

hello My name is Manjit singh Sandhu i use 2 credit cards of axis bank one is flipkart card and other is world privilege credit card on my these cards my limit is 175000+175000 tha total limit is 350000 but now axis bank issue me new 3rd card is axis bank ace credit card but the decrease my limit to 175000 only and merge this limit on my 3 cards i dont know why bank do this with me because i pay my all bills in advance and no any penalty but axis bank do this with me. then i call to customer care 10-20 times but they also dont give any response to me about this and also not registered my complaint. then i send email to nodel officer of axis bank but they also not give me any response. so after this i write complaint on indian PM portal and my complaint is registered i explain all this with proof because i have card statements with proof my every card bill generate different. this is very bad thing for axis bank dont any call no any email even not sms about this action.

so i want to tell you please beware from axis bank if you use one card then dont apply any other card because axis bank do a huge scam and give you lot of charges on credit cards but limit is only one and you pay annual fee of 3 credit cards.

Same thing happened with me as well. No intimation from bank. And then charge annual fee in very first bill. Worst service
Hi, my name is kaushal singh, i am having two credit card from Axis bank, my credit not working from 14-Aug-21, when i call to customer care they told me that your both credit card limits merge, but i am paying all payments on time and also i am getting message for different credit limit and also i am getting two credit card statements separately. In this scenario, without any intimation from bank how they merge credit limits.

i have also attached both credit card limit images.

please resolve this issue and do the needful.

I am using flipkar axis band credit card from last one year and i always do payments on time, never delay any payment, one day i got msg from axis bank credit card representatives that you have a offer on credit card that you can apply for 2 credit card through some step which he send, i applied for the same and after 20 days a got my 2nd neo credit card with limit 36k. But when i had activated my card and try to use it it shows that your card has insufficient funds. I checked on the portal and it shows me the limit. So i called the customer service executive after a 30 min heat arguement he said you have only one limit of 2 credit card and your both credit card is merged. Without my intimation how these fraud scammer can merge. I told him to transfer this call to senior, he said that i can't transfer it my senior, this is our policy. What kind of policy is this if i am not satisfied with your response obviously you have to transfer but that didn't transfer the call. And he ended the call, please help me with this. Take some needful action
