[Resolved] Axis Bank — Debit card unauthorized transaction | |||
Today on 26th May 2020, I got direct messages between 1:36 PM and 1:58 PM of debit on my account which was 8000, 100, 100 and 7999 without any OTP. I called the Axis bank customer service and got my card blocked. I went to my nearest Axis bank branch as well but didn't get a clear reply that how that thing happened as I know that I haven't been hacked. They gave me a dispute form and asked for information regarding it and said after submitting, it will take about 90 days to resolve the issue. Afterwards, I went to police station to file an FIR to unknown people who took my money. The policeman said that as the transaction got done in your account without asking for any OTP to you, he can't file an FIR against unknown person but can only file the case against bank. I didn't want to do that so I came back. Here I am asking for the resolution of the same that I should get back my 16, 200 rupees by bank as there was no OTP involved Was this information helpful? | |||
