On 10th April 2023 around 8:00 AM, I received a call from Axis Bank regarding bounced EMI, he asked me to check whether I have received re-run ECS sms, it was not there, he asked to pay through PhonePe and guided to pay from PhonePe options. I paid EMI including emi bounce charges.
I asked to CSR that will it re-run ECS again, he said no as emi+bounce charges are already paid. Same day at 5 PM I received sms regarding re-run ECS SMS. and I received a call from Axis Bank to maintain sufficient balance, I told them that I have alredy paid the guy suggested as emi is already paid Axis Bank will not pull the emi again.
On 12th April 2023, I received msg stating that ECS/NACH is failed. I was imposed charges of 590. After I called Axis Bank customer service and asked why it was happened you guys already promised that emi will not be duducted again? They didn't answer properly they just saying its a procedure.
If it is a procedure then earlier why they asked me to pe through phonePe after that why axis bank called me to maintain balance.
After paying bouce chages+EMI everytime CSR/Bank People said that EMI will not hit(re-run) again. But it was re-run I got penalty of 590 from operative bank.
These guys are asking to connect with operative bank. but why to connect with operative bank for Axis Bank mistake.
I am asking Axis Bank to refund 590 penalty of operative bank. Was this information helpful? |
