Axis Bank — Incorrectly charged EMI | |||||
I had made a purchase on Amazon using Axis MyZone credit card on 19th October 2020. I cancelled the order immediately and the amount was refunded on 21/10/20 by Amazon. In the meantime I had called Axis bank customer care regarding the EMI charges reversal / cancellation. They had mentioned that it will be taken care by the Amazon. Hence I called Amazon and they mentioned that it should be from Bank side and not their side. Then I called Axis bank customer care again. They mentioned that once the Amazon bank will refund Emi reversal will happen automatically. I waited for so many days and when the credit card statement was generated I could see the emi amount and interest charged. When I called the Axis bank customer care, then they say that I had to raise a request for EMI Reversal. Why wasn’t this told to me on the first call?? I have been trying from 2020, Axis bank is not resolving this issue Was this information helpful? | |||||
