[Resolved]  Axis Bank — Lien amount removal

Hi team axis,

I missed two payments for my credit card since my old card expired (Feb-2020) and new card never reached me due to covid-19 situation. I couldn't pay the bill online and visited the nearby branch (Koramangala) who refused to help and asked me to go to my home branch.

And phone banking support was also not available from day 1 of lockdown. Even small banks were providing limited call support except axis.

Now there is a lien on my savings account!

I went 2 different branch and finally made the payment (22-may-2020) in one of them and still the lien amount is not yet removed.

When i reach out to customer care via phone they are just tossing me around between savings account department and credit card department. Not to mention the rudeness of all the agents.

Is this the proper way to treat customers? I am closing my account once all of this is settled down and never stepping foot on axis again.

Same thing happens to me
I have negative balance in my saving account...now in my saving account got PF amount ..balance..they already deducted ..bt still not reflacting in my credit card due..why ..totally fraud

I hold a savings account in your branch. The details are as follows:

On 29 Jun 22 my account was debited with Rs. 14630. I inquired from one of the branch from Hyderabad and found that the money put on lien for purchase of one of the IPOs named Stovekraft. The matter is that, I have not initiated such transaction and the money in account has been put on lien transaction.

I have called up numerous times in the home branch, paid customer support and visited many a times to axis bank branches in my hometown and raised many SRs but all are closed without any resolution.

My money has been struck up in your bank without any purpose causing me mental stress as there is no IPO in the market with name Stove kraft and I do not have any demat with your bank for trading.

This is last I am approaching for the solution for returning my money back .
