Axis Bank — No action taken for replacement forex card and insurance claim | |||||
I am a student in U.S. and was using multi currency forex card for transfering funds from India. On May 1st, I lost my card. Unfortunately fraud transaction happened on that card worth $2600. Furthermore there was the remaining balance of $400 when the card was blocked. As the card was insured, I raised a insurance request with Axis bank on 11th of May by providing all the relevant documents. I also raised request for replacement card on next day. The ETA for replacement card was 7 days and for insurance it was 30 days. It has been more than 50 days now and I still don't have any update on what is going on. I have neither received card nor insurance claim. Whenever I contact their customer care over mail or call, they raise new request and ask me to wait for 2 days. So far they have given me more than 10 complaint numbers but still no concrete step have been taken. When I tried to escalate things by writing mail to higher authority I got reply from same level 1 customer care. Because of all this I am stranded here without any source of money. I have written to travel.currency at least 15 times and called customer care same number of times. Every time I just get new reference number. Luckily I recorded all calls and I have everything on mail. I can make a good case for myself if no action is taken fast.
