[Resolved]  Axis Bank — Registered contact number not showing in axis internet banking (axis request #[protected]

I am an axis customer and the registered email id is deepti. [protected]@gmail.com (As cannot share my contact number here). Recently i have updated my contact number by visiting the branch/atm and i get all my transactional messages/ netsecure code on the updated number only.

But still the contact number which i see on my axis bank net banking profile is +91 [protected] the previous one which is no more active from past 3 years.

I want to redeem my axis edge rewards points but when i am doing checkout i am seeing the contact number as +91 [protected] as it is not updated on profile.

I even tried it updating online and it says that the update request has been received and it'll take 24 hrs to get updated but more than 72 hrs have passed but still the contact number is not updated i. E same issue.

I am fed up of explaining the same issue to different customer care executives as i have called 5-6 times and each time call is picked up by different executives.

Axis customer care executives are not in sync (Probably not updated with the process) as each and every time when i talk to them they provide different solutions. The things that they tell me are:
- crm tool is not working as under maintenance so call after 1 hour
- need to check on edge reward points system but the server is down so call after an hour
- you need to visit the branch/ atm to update the number (Freak!! Already told them that i am getting all transactional msg and secure code on updated number)
- need to submit an application to delete the previous number then only technical team will be able to update it (Disgusting!! Why cant the technical team update the existing number with the new one)
- visit the branch and then give ur phone to any staff and then we'll talk to them (C'mon if this is the case then u should talk internally why customer need to do all this. Secondly what's the surity that my call will be picked up by the same customer executive)

I have already updated the contact number from branch/ atm so it should get updated on all the systems. It's the axis bank fault, customer should not visit the branch to update the number for different tools.

The reason i am bothered for updating the number on net banking profile page is 'when delivery boy will try to contact me he will not be able to reach me on the previous number'.

My edge points are getting expired so want the quick solution.
