[Resolved] Axis Bank — reissued debit card - not received yet | |
Hi there, Yesterday i had raised a complaint stating my debit card hasnt been issued, however the money has been deducted from my account and i have been routed so many times just to get an invalid information from most of the customer service representatives. Below is the issue that was addressed yesterday: "to the concerned, my name is mary and my customer id is 83*848. Holding an account with axis bank for the past 7 years. This is with regards to an issue that am dealing with axis bank for the past 3 months. I had placed a request for an"edge rewards debit card"in the month of july. I got a confirmation message the same day and the amount of rs. 550 was debited from my account. I got an information that the professional courier people through whom the card has been dispatched had not been able to reach out, immediately i tried calling them out to ask the issue, however they told me that they will send the courier person again to me. However, after waiting for a day, i did not get any call or any message, and then i called up the courier, they did not answer my call. Later on august 8th i got a message stating that the card has been returned to the home branch, mylapore, chennai. I called up the customer service immediately to re-dispatch the card as i currently reside in coimbatore and the customer service gave a false promise stating that the card will be re-dispatched to my address and asked me to wait for 10 days. I waited for 10 days and when called up the customer service as i did not receive the card, they told me that the card has been re-dispatched and that i will have to wait for another week. However i did not receive the card, when i called up last week, the customer service rep told me that she will send in a request to home branch in mylapore and will ask for re-dispatch details and that i will receive the card, Still now i did not receive the card and when called up today, the customer service is providing me the old status that the card has been delivered to home branch and they cannot help and by now the card would have reached the"destroy team "and i will have to apply for a newcard and have to pay again. An unconcerned answer to a customer who holds the account for more than 7 years. I am trying to call my home branch, however, till now no one has attended my call." Today, i got a call and an email to update my contact details using the "www.axisbank.com/support and select savings account other than burgundy", however there is no link to send an email on my contact information. It would be good if a proper e-mail address is sent and how long will i have to keep following up on this. Was this information helpful? | |
