[Resolved]  Axis Bank — Requirement of Original Aadhaar Card for seeding

Sir, I went on Saturday in your Lakhimpur-Kheri Branch with form-1 (Bank Linking Form) MDBTL Version 1.0/11-14 and photo copy of Aadhaar Card self attested for linking in my Account No [protected]. Bank officer Mr. Mayank Told that it will be received when you will produce original Aadhaar Card. At that time Original Aadhar Card was not in my pocket. I requested it is true legible copy and self attested by me. I am solely responsible for the same. It is necessary to go bank with Original Aadhar Card were not communicated till date by any communication. No information is mentioned in that form. My complaint, are it is necessary to show Original Aadhar Card? If yes why this information is not given to public by bank through any press release or notice / SMS. If it is possible without production of Original Aadhar Card in already opened account to seed the number please guide me.
