Without my permission some amount getting debited from my account, It is mentioned in the statement like TIP/SCG.VISA.POS.DT 240116. If I ask customer care they say if I use my debit card in hotel or some shopping it will be charged. Am using salary account and what is the use it, why you guys charge me for using debit card. The restaurant or super market or where ever we swipe they charge 2 percent for using card, the merchant will pay the bank some percentage and why the hell you guys charging from us too. you guys charging all sort of sevice charge, atm usage charge, quarterly charge etc etc from use without fail, including all this charge this hidden changers. If this is your process alert us through sms u will be charged certain amount since you swipped with this merchant, you guys correctly charging 15 rs for sms right the what is the pain for you to alert a customer. If we repay loan or cc bill you guys keep on msging right why can't do this . I need a proper response for this and i need my money back till now which is debited. Was this information helpful? | |||

tip SCG VISA POS 130617 some Amount debit from my Account, what was the reason, I also visited one of your branch in Hyderabad at Hitech city they said it was surcharges from the govt . Government asking to do digital money transactions, how do we do such kind of transactions if you charge like this. Please give me the clarification immediately.

Axis bank has debiting my account and when I tried calling their customer care their number is constantly busy on a single day my account has been debited of more than Rs40 days saying TIPS from IRCTC but I have not made any bookings on their website for the past two months!! Expecting someone to call me immediately my number is [protected] . I have attached the image for reference.

I also got the same TIP/SCG.VISA for using debit card for petrol.
its really crazy thing government want us use more digital money and gives benefit of 0.75% on using debit card but the bank put again 2.5% on the same transaction in the name of TIP/SCG.VISA.

Same issue here ! But I think it’s specific to few petrol station . Check it out .
29.6 inr is debited from my account periodically for every 1000 inr payment to petrol station with description as [Tips/Scg/Pos ] . No use of contacting branch manager or customer care. Seems my axis bank account is unsafe . And this tips is debited from my account after the week of payment to a single particular petrol station .please solve this issue .

during the call the executive said we don't have access to know about the merchant. who is the merchant why they debited etc.. that was shocking to here, , if that is the situation how to trust the bank what if the merchant debits a bigger amount and bank says we are not responsible.
Ultimately i dint get any solution and the person had cut the call rudely.

I was a satisfied AXIS bank customer till last Nov'2017, Since last 6 years I haven't found anything suspicious about the bank but since last 6 months I have been facing multiple dubious activities with my AXIS bank account.
Just quoting the most recent incident
"I had used my debit card at a near by petrol pump on[protected] for amount of Rs. 500.
everything was fine till today, I have just now received a message from Axis bank that your A/C no. XXXXXX has been debited by Rs 14.75 on 22Feb18. Info: TIPS/SCG/POS/MODERN FILLING/STA/DT.18-FE"
On further investigation I found that I had used my debit card at the same modern filling station (Petrol Pump) on 18-Feb-2018.
What is this deduction for ??
And how come you deducted your customers money without prior intimation ??
This is FRAUD/CHEATING.
And highly "UN-ACCEPTABLE" and "UN-PROFESSIONAL".
I am know thinking to change my salary account to any other bank,
This is surely becoming a blacklisted bank in my eyes...

I got an SMS, mentioning - Your ac/no XXXX is debited Rs. XX... on account of TIP/SCG.VISA.POS.DT 280818. i got it nearly 6 times today and deducted various amount which is 81rs, 55 rs, 1 rs, 93 rs, 3.11 rs, 77 rs. what the hell is going on, no body from the bank staff told me about this when the time of account opening. what should i do? who repay me amount?

Same thing happened with me also. Whenever I use my debit card in Petrol Pump then it will charged sometimes 2.5% and sometimes 4% without any reason. SCG.VISA.POS is mention in the statement. I've search alot from Google but not found any relative information. I also read all the tnc but not found any information about this. Kindly provide me complete information.

I just received similer email, I have done shopping yesterday and after more than 24 hrs some amount deducted. When I use my card I asked is there any changes to me he simply replied no then only I used card payment else I do UPI. Now I see so many people are suffering from same issue. I don't understand why I get Charged for an Additional amount for using my Debit Card at a Gas Station when there is already a 2% fees?. I use my other debit cards also for getting fuel at Gas stations, but they never deduct any money.
AXIS Bank is the most hopeless & corrupt bank and they expertise in ROBBERY.
I don's want or bother or expect any kind of firm explanations from the bank at any point of time.
All i will do is... I WILL STOP USING THIS DEBIT CARD FOR ANY KIND OF TRANSACTIONS WITH THE IMMEDIATE EFFECT ...and the same time i suggest and recommend other dear Axis Bank debit card holders to do the same.
