[Resolved] Axis Bank — Wrong information provided leading to penalty | |||||
Hi, I am having a house loan of 12 years with axis bank. 3 months back I had been to axis bank branch near Mumbai university for part payment. One of the lady addressing told us to open an account against home loan stating that you will be able to check your statuses there. Also clearly mentioning that its a zero balance account and there will be no charge for it. We did so. And as soon as we deposited money in that account for initial transaction our money got deducted as an atm card charge. Next home loan Emi which was deductiing through my current account didn't happen and I got a call from axis bank that check has been bounced and I have to bear the penalty for it. Regarding this Emi deduction bank change, nobody had mentioned to me. Now why should I bear the penalty. And the same thing has repeated for the second time even though we told the tele executive that my loan is going through my current account in another bank. I'm planning to take a balance transfer just because of this mos communication and wrong deduction of penalty. Was this information helpful? | |||||
