B2X (Aarvi Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd.) — Oneplus 2 valid insurance is not covered by B2X Aarvi insurance

I bought Oneplus 2 phone in October 2015 and also bought a B2X accidental insurance cover with it. It is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase. I have registered by providing my details through an email and sent it to B2x Administrators. They have registered me successfully and sent me an email.

8 months down the line, on June 8th 2016 I have slipped water accidentally on the phone and I have reached out to Oneplus customer care for an immediate recovery. Also I have tried logging in the site http://b2xdomains.com/oneplus/Support.aspx but I was not able to login as I don't have my password and forgot password link was not working on the site. Meanwhile, Oneplus customer care have asked me to perform all the steps which are required to dry the phone. After 2 weeks, phone switched on and it lost the touch capability, but was working internally, notifications were popping, alarms were working, can't unlock as touch and fingerprint sensors stopped working (these are the things which I observed without unlocking it). With this result, I have asked customer care about the further steps, they asked me to submit my phone at B2X service center. I did the same and due to some unavoidable personal trip for 1 year, I came to US after submitting the phone in B2X service center in Abids, Hyderabad. They have asked me to register a complaint on B2X site http://b2xdomains.com/oneplus/Support.aspx.

It asked me to login. As I have registered through an email before, I don't have my password and Forgot password link is not working on the page. I have dropped a mail to B2X guys to know my password and they have given me my password in plain text in mail (this is a security breach). I have logged in to the site and filed a complaint giving June 8th 2016 as damage date. I have uploaded all the required documents. And I have insurance valid till November 2016. But the insurance claim has been rejected citing as below:

*The material fact about the claim is misrepresented in claim document or claim supporting document
therefore contract considered as null and void.
*The claim lodged is outside the scope of policy due to misrepresentation /misdescription / non
disclosure of material fact

When I have asked them the reason all they say is I have not logged the complaint before 48 hours of the damage. But this has not been mentioned in the insurance brochure I got after the purchase. Also there has been a delay as the forgot password link is not working on the site. As my insurance is valid throughout this time, why don't I receive a proper repair of the device with valid dates and incidents. Also I have reached out to Abids service center to get my phone back as that is lying there without any repair, but no response.

All these incidents triggered me to log a complaint here for such a poor customer service and response. I regret taking the insurance from these guys.

1.Lack of information provided in the insurance brochure (48 hours deadline is never mentioned)
2. Poor functioning of the site (links don't work)
3. Password stored in plain text (Anyone can login and breach my information, change the documents)
4. Poor customer service. (Abids customer service guys are not returning calls to take my phone back)
5. My insurance has gone waste? (With valid details and true incidents, I don't receive a service in spite of paying for it)
6. Oneplus customer care not knowing details about the complaint procedure.
