[Resolved] Bajaj Allianz — Fraud in car insurance renewal | |||
I want to bring this to your notice that I have been cheated in the process of getting my car insured from Bajaj Allianz. The fraud might have been done by a third party but this doesn't seem to be an impromptu cheating attempt to me. I have strong suspicion that Bajaj Allianz staff is involved in this fraudulent activity. my policy is 0G[protected]-00102458 which expired on the 8thmarch'2017. 1. My car inspection was scheduled for Tuesday (14th March'17). Around 12.00 PM the person completed the inspection and left. 2. On the same day, I received a call from Bajaj Allianz representative(contact number- +91 [protected]) around 12.50 PM stating that my inspection status is Rejected. As a workaround, he asked me to pay the money in cash so that he could renew the insurance in back date. 3. On the same day around 3.19 pm, he sent another Bajaj Sales person. He filled the relevant details and provided me with a stamped cover note(PFA for your reference) and assured me that I would be receiving the soft copy by Friday(17th March'2017). Also he collected an amount of Rs.10165/- from me. His telephone number - +91 [protected] 4. When I didn't receive any update from the company, I tried reaching the executive but all in vain. Later his phone got switched off. When I tried contacting the person who collected money from me, he either didn't receive my call or disconnected. After some time, his phone was also switched off. I strongly believe that Bajaj staff is also involved in this. In just 45 minutes, I got the call from the fraudster that the inspection has been rejected. Now could you please be kind enough to explain me, how the hell did he get my contact details and the information about the inspection status??? (I had got the call from the same person even before the inspection that he could do away with the inspection formality if I could pay in cash for the policy, to which I denied). 3. Moreover, there was not at all any update from Bajaj Allianz about my inspection status. I had to do multiple follow ups just to get the formal mail about the inspection status. Shall I safely assume that this time was bought just to settle the money deceived from me amongst all your staff involved??? i had my car insurance earlier done by Bajaj Allianz since the day i bought the car and not only that i have been getting my other car also insured through bajaj allianz and wanted to get the same this year as well, but guess that was a big mistake from my end. This kind of behaviour is extremely disgraceful. i am enclosing the videos of the person(in the plain bllue shirt) also the copy of the form filled by him I strongly demand an explanation for this on an immediate basis Was this information helpful? | |||
