[Resolved]  Bajaj Allianz — Pathetic service, indecorous response, unsettled claim - a highly dissatisfied customer

I have a Bajaj Avenger 220 DTSI which got damaged/inundated in Chennai Floods. I have registered a claim on 12 Dec 15. (Claim No.: OC[protected] and my customer ID is 58087626.
A surveyor was supposed to conduct a survey and collect the documents from me but however nobody turned up even after calling for a couple of times to the customer care. I was given with a contact No.s[protected] of Arumbakkam office. I tried calling many times but my call was always transferred from one desk to another and would gradually end without answer. Finally after prolonged attempts I was told to personally come and submit the documents at the Arumbakkam office for the process to be initiated. I had submitted all the required documents to Mr. Satish[protected] and was assured that the surveyor will be arranged. Still waited for quite some time and nobody turned up. Then once again I had contacted the customer care and requested to speak to some senior person. After registering the complaint it took another few days for the surveyor (Mr. Ramasaamy, Mob No. [protected]) to come and complete the formalities.

After the repair work I called the surveyor to come and collect the documents/bills for the claim process on 5 Jan 16. The surveyor kept on saying tomorrow and finally had asked me to submit directly to Mr. Satish in Arumbakkam Office. The bills were submitted to Mr. Satish on 12 Jan 16 for the claim process for further settlement.

Now the surveyor is asking me that Why did I submitted the documents at Arumbakkam Office. He is not able to receive any document from Mr. Satish. Mr. Satish is unable to understand and claims that all documents are with the surveyor.
I have a strong doubt that the documents are misplaced by the company or may be its reluctancy in settling my claim.

This is not just what I have faced. I have visited the Arumbakkam office thrice thereby hampering the busy schedule of mine. No matter how many times I call to the Arumbakkam office i don't get a proper response as i cannot speak Tamil. People in Arumbakkam office will entertain if and only if one speaks in Tamil or else the call will be transferred from one desk to another.
I have recently complained regarding the entire episode at the customer care ( Request No.[protected] and has followed up on the same a few times. Today i have been told by the customer care that the status of my case shows as closed. (Today, 25 Jan 16.)

Dear Bajaj Allianz,
We all are already very much affected because of the natural calamity that has occoured and are slowly trying to recover. If this is how you treat your customers and value them then it will be like an addon to our trauma and sufferings there by harassing us mentally. I had a lot of high hopes from your organization but you have shattered it.
Please do not come up with an excuse that you are having too many cases due to floods and that is why it is taking time. I have many colleagues having insurance from other companies who received a poles apart treatment and service to what your are giving me and their claims are settled long back. The most annoying part is your lack of communication, disrespect towards customer, unprofessional attitude in dealing and too many fake commitments along with self pity of having huge workload.
