[Resolved] Bajaj Allianz — unauthorized credit card charges | |||
Hi, I bought a travel insurance for my trip to the us in the month of may, through your agent mr. Simon topoo. I made the transaction on 18th may. Mr. Topoo informed me that i will have to pay rs.1028 for the silver pack which covered 15 days of my travel. He sent me the online link to make the payment while he was on call with me. After i made the payment, i got an error on the page saying the policy has not been generated however, i got an sms from my bank saying the charge went through. I informed mr. Topoo regarding the same. He assured me that its not charged and it will drop in a few days as your company will not claim it. Then he informed me that he had recommended me a wrong travel insurance and that it was not for the us but asia, and the travel insurance for the us will cost me rs.1145. So again i made another payment of rs.1145 and that went through and he sent me my policy on email. While on my trip i got my cc statement and it showed a charge of rs.1028 and since my due date was next day i paid to avoid the late fees. Once i came back on 15th june i called mr. Topoo and told him about this and emailed the statement copy to him and he assured me yet again that he will look into it an call me back. He never did. I have since then called him 50 times, he doesn't come on the phone most of the time and the 3 times that i didn't manage to get him on phone he told me he will call me back and never did and the last 2 times he put my call on mute and left me hanging. This is the worst experience i have had. He is highly unprofessional and very rude. I even went on your live chat option and told a representative about all this and he too assured me that i will get a call back in 10 mins, its been 4 days and i haven't got any call backs from anyone. This is highly frustrating and annoying. I have never had to face such incompetence ever with any other company. If i do not hear back from you guys and get a refund for the full amount i will report this to the police and defame your company on social media aswell. Very disappointing.
