[Resolved]  Bajaj Auto — Fraud in sanctioning incorrect loan amount

I purchased a Bajaj Platina (total cost 46, 000/- inclusive of RTO & Insurance charges) from 'Sharma Vehicles' at Shridham, M.P. 487118 on 8th October, 2014. This was in exhange for my existing HERO HONDA SPLENDOR which the store took for 28, 000/- considering it as down payment. The remaining amount of 18, 000/- was financed from BAJAJ AUTO FINANCE LTD. During the transaction, when I asked about monthly installment amount, it was verbally informed to be nearly 1800/- for 12 months. After informing this, they made me sign some documentation after which I took my new vehicle. On 11th October, I received a message from Bajaj Auto Finance informing about my Loan Number. This was followed by a call informing of loan details. I was extremely shocked to know the loan amount mentioned in call that wa s 25, 350/- instead of my required (and pending) amount 18, 000/-. I immediately went to the store & questioned on the changed loan amount which was different than the earlier discussed amount when I signed the documents. Store person straightaway told me directly contact the finance company saying that they do not deal with loans. This was highly irresponsible behaviour by the store representatives in not attending to it's customer's concerns. I then called up Bajaj Auto Finance but there response was also extremely dissatisfactory informing about some hidden processing charges. These charges were NOT at all informed earlier during finalizing the transaction. This is simply a FRAUD by the finance company in keeping customer UNINFORMED about many things during deal process. It feels that I have been badly cheated in this whole transaction. I request you to pay urgent attention to this matter considering it as grave.
