[Resolved] Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited [BESCOM] — High electricity bill and misguidence | |||
My electricity consumption per month ranges from rs 800 to 1000 and summer bills vary from 1200 to 1700. However, the amount i have been charged for the may is rs 4524 which is exceptionally high. I went to bescom and enquired about the same and also have made a complaint on the website (Ce 10582159 date 4th june 2020). Office team members asked me to check for building meter and household appliances for any dispute which later i did and found nothing.in june i visited again and made payment to check my meter in the lab. Till today no one showed up. Since may month i haven't paid my bill due to this issue and in july month i have got 1250rs bill (167 unit consumption), My question is if july bill consumption is within usual consumption then how come all of sudden in the month of may i have got 4524rs. Bills? Additionally i have paid 105 rs extra for meter lab check but no one showed up till then and no test has been done. Moreover in last two months bill interest charge for late payment has been added.
