I am experiencing the issue of excess electricity billing from past 1.6 yrs

Everytime when I complain the issue will be taken care of for the next bill cycle and after that it's again back to square one with additional tariff.

I seriously think the employees do some goofup while taking the meter reading . I stay alone and spent most of my time outof the house and when I compare my bill with my neighbours...

I am V Sundararajan residing at Block1, B0 Samhita Orchid, Byrasandra Main Road, CV Raman Nagar Post, Bangalore 560 093. My BESCOM consumer ID is 1120104 and Location code is E7.

I paid the June 2010 bill well before the due date with excess amount of Rs.31. The June 2010 bill amount was Rs. 654.00. I have paid Rs. 685.00 at BESCOM BMAZ, Austin Town dated 10 Jun 2010 by Cash mode. The location code is 1120104...

I am Dr. Mohan and I have constructed my new house in No 48, 2nd cross, Nandadeepa Layout, Near Panchasheela school, Pattanagere, RR nagar, Bangalore. I have submitted my application for new connection of electricity and registered my application with BESCOM on 18/01/2010 (receipt No. 4084 dated 18/-1/2010).

Initially when I approached the BESCOM officials, I was informed that first of all my layout need to be considered as...

The voltage fluctuations in Skyline Manor, Bride Street, Bangalore 560025 is excessive during the day and especially in the evening.

Due to this my telephone adaptors have burnt out. A few of my light bulbs and our building light bulbs have fused.

Please check and stop these fluctuations at the earliest.

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the disconnection of our electricity supply due to the removal of the fuse without any prior or on-the-spot intimation from BESCOM.

We recently shifted to the premises on lease and were in the process of linking our account for payment. Due to this transition, there was a slight delay in making the payment. However, we were not informed beforehand about the disconnection, which has caused significant inconvenience. Had we been notified, we would have addressed the payment issue immediately to avoid disruption.

We kindly request you to look into this matter and restore the power supply at the earliest. Additionally, we request that in the future, prior notice be given before taking such actions to prevent unnecessary hardships.

Today I remitted through Net banking an amount Rs.3000/= as BESCOM electric charges relating to my connection No.[protected]
But I have not received any acknowledgement /receipt

I have applied for a name changes request online against reference number-[protected] and attached all necessary proof and documents as described in the form, and paid the exact amount as required.
As I am not in the town I initiated the process online.
Since I have not received any updates against my request I raised a complicated- docket no- [protected] on 10th Feb 2024. after that almost I used to get multiple calls from BESCOM that the change will be done 5-10 working days. On 6th of April the authorities closed my complaint without resolution.
As the things are not closed and I am outside the town, I raise my concern to the helpline and in response the AAO reverted to come offline and pay the amount, that I have already paid in the cash counter.
This is completely misleading and fraudulent by the authorities, and I would request immediate action on the responsible people. I will put all misle information of BESCOM in twitter and Facebook tagging the government buddies that how the authorities kicking the digital India program, if things are taken granted. Thanks

I can see arrears equal to the actual bill amount in my latest bill making it double.
I have paid all my previous bills as well. Why has this been charged?

Recently an electric pole has been installed in front of our house without our permission is is causing problem as We cannot open our gate to park our car, Please kindly request you to remove this ASAP

I have faced the worst service ever and resolution takes forever. Bescom has taken away my fuse with no legit reason, since I have always paid my bill before due date, in fact this time I paid double the amount, just to play safe but in only a matter of 2 weeks, I have been disconnected twice from my electricity connection, I don’t understand the reason and they don’t understand it either, I want to know the person responsible for this and ask to whomever is responsible to fix the problem and atleast give a prior disconnection initiation notice if any such issue arises
My bill is fully paid (also in advance)
I want a reasonable reply from BESCOM and please escalate this issue and take strict actions against the culpable

I usually get bill within one thousand however on 10/01/2024 i got a bill of 2600 and i was waiting for the bill guy and correct the reading and was waiting for them to reach out to me. They just cut the wire and left without even having the courtesy of informing .. mean sob's.

In our road there is only one street light that is not working. Kindly fix it ASAP. I also complained to BESCOM they said that it has to go to BDA.

The street light in front of Shree vijaya public school and 2 subsequent light poles are not functioning over the past 1 month, after complaining to the nearest BESCOM office, the officials said there is a issue in the fuse but they never returned to fix the problem after inspecting. It is very hard to step out since there are snakes in the locality which causes lot of problem to the residents in the nearest locality. And the bulbs are frequently broken by some drunkers who do all illegal stuff in the empty space that belongs to the government (sewage department). Recently there was also a chain snatching case that took place right in front of the school

Hi Sir My street light is not working in my area total 5 street lights are not working and due to that Snakes and theft are happening in that area please help in fixing those lights.

Power failure happens regularly and frequently.
A bad power supply company.
Power went in the morning and after 6:30pm, it still hasn't returned.

I paid bill late but still from past two days power is not there and they took the fuse from meter box without any information.

This is regarding the wrong meter reading entry in the bill. I have consumed around 22 units in the July month. Previous meter reading is 644 units and the current meter reading is 670 units but the biller has entered as 970 units and the total amount in the bill is 3307.. I generally pay around 250 rs every month. Please correct the reading so that I can pay online the correct amount. The current meter reading is 670 units.

Normally I used to pay BESCOM bills through BESCOM website. During Jan 2023 an amount of INR 2030 was paid through the site but didnt get the receipt and the amount got deducted from my account.

I waited for few days nothing happened.

Inspector from BESCOM insisted that the payment didnt go through and asked me to pay it again as the due date was exceeded.

I made another payment through Bangalore one center (HBR Layout) for an amount of INR. 2030.

In the meanwhile, BESCOM has acknowledged the receipt of amount paid through the website.

However, the second payment made through Bangalore One center was neither adjusted nor refunded.

I wrote several emails to helpdesk of BEscom, but of no use till date.

Unfortunately, I missed the Bangalore One receipt.

Both payments are made to my account Id mentioned above...It must reflect in their system..
