Be10x — Complaint against Be10X for refusal to cancel course enrollment and EMI despite same-day request

I enrolled in the Be10X introductory workshop by paying a nominal fee of ₹10.74. The session was satisfactory and seemed worth the amount.

At the end of the session, a six-month program priced at approximately ₹28, 000 was introduced as an early-bird offer. I did not opt for this offer initially. However, the next day, I received a call from their team offering another option. I was told that I could set up a cardless EMI and attend the course for the first month free of cost, and only if I found it useful, I would need to continue and pay from the following month. They also assured me that I could cancel anytime before that and receive a refund if I chose not to proceed.

Based on this assurance, I agreed and proceeded with setting up the EMI.

However, within one hour of enrollment, I realized that the course would not be beneficial for me and that I would not have sufficient time to attend it. I immediately contacted their support team on the same day and requested cancellation of my enrollment and a full refund.

Despite my prompt request made within hours of enrollment and before availing any course benefits, they have refused to cancel my enrollment or process a refund. This is against the assurances provided during the sales call and amounts to unfair trade practice and misrepresentation.

I believe this is a case of misleading sales tactics, where false promises were made to induce enrollment, particularly regarding the “free trial” period and cancellation option.

I request the concerned authority to:

1. Direct Be10X to cancel my enrollment immediately.
2. Ensure a full refund of the amount charged.
3. Cancel the associated EMI arrangement to prevent further financial liability.
4. Take appropriate action against such misleading and unfair business practices.

I have supporting evidence including call details and communication records, which can be provided upon request.

Kindly look into this matter and provide a resolution at the earliest.
