Bharti Airtel — Ambiguous message caused money loss and cheated by deactivating service without consent and asking tariff for reactivation | |||
I recevived a msg from Airtel about caller tune song selection renewal for 15 rs a 90 days and said 'to deactivate send STOP to 155233', which deactivated my Caller tune service entirely instead of just song. I had bought a Rs 200 for 365 days pack in just last month and now they're refusing to reactivate my service back and are asking for fresh rentals for activation. While explaining this to a customer care executive, they hung up the call without giving satisfactory solution. And after some time I received a message that my internet service has been deactivated, I never made such a request but the Airtel executive has done that out of revenge and malice. When called to enquire the exec. are claiming that I made such a request on the same day which I dint and that again I need to pay fresh rentals for the same ie 155/- Rs to reactivate the service that I never asked to disable on my own. I have the call records with me to defend my case and have sent to Airtel greviance cell for a probe. Hope they bother to solve this. Was this information helpful? | |||
