Dear Sir/Ma'm
I've been a regular customer at bigbasket.com. But recently they have started sending me worst quality products. They send me stinking rotten chicken which intense smell could you sick. They send me zucchini infested with hundred of maggots (yeah maggots! Not any common worm that we find in vegetables) that a mere view would make you throw. They send me "pineapple slices" which smells like raw meat because i had also ordered mutton and both were smelling same. And this time they send me worst quality litchi with worm beneath their stems. And customer service is also poor. They won't refund my money in cash. They will do it in the form of "e-cash" which coerce me to again buy stuffs from their site so as to utilise that money. What should i do?

    This was my first time for ordering from Big Basket! I ordered few vegetables and was given a date for 4th June 2016. I was expecting the delivery from 9:30 to 12:00 which was the delivery time provided by Big Basket. But the product wasn't delivered! I tried calling their customer care! But that number is not working! And after a couple of house I receive a message stating due to some unforeseen circumstances the order was cancelled! This was never expected from Big Basket especially when they gave big promises of guaranteed delivery at the time provided by them! Such an unprofessional and inconvient customer service! It's pathethic! I would request anyone and everyone who feels like ordering from Big Basket! Kindly don't order from them! They are not at all reliable! And even if they deliver your groceries! I don't believe on the quality of their groceries.. So I'm not risking my families health for anything else! It's a request to everyone! Kindly don't order from Big Basket

      My order no BMFO[protected] which was scheduled to arrive on 2nd June 2016 between 5-7.30 pm didnot arrive. On calling the customer care I was told tht My order was on its way and I would receive a call back from the concerned person within 10-15 mins and my order would arrive before 9pm.
      Neither did I receive a call nor the delivery. On calling them again I was again told tht there was some technical issue n I would receive a call back in 15 mins. Again I didnot receive a call.
      On calling them for the third time I was told tht my order had been cancelled due to some technical issues n would now be reprocessed and would be delivered by 6th of June.
      Finally I went ahead cancelling my order due to frustration n carelessness of the team as I required the goods immediately.
      Pathetic customer service. Ridiculous delivery. Non-reliabe.

        I had placed an order of 17-18 products for express delivery around 8pm on 31/5/2016. However got few items on the same night 10 pm with express delivery charge 20 rupees and rest of the items delivered next day evening with express delivery charge 20 rupees. Here I was charged with 40 rupees for express delivery for two times which I didn't get on time. Also I called the customer care for this but they couldn't give me any satisfactory answer. Will never place an order on big basket, just uninstalling the app...

          I have purchased a prdoduct from Bigbasket.com and it was prepaid already and i have not received the produt, their site shows the product is delivered.
          After repeated mail to the customer care regarding this issue, still i didnt get any response, they have no mechanism to track if the prepaid products are delivered to the right customer. It's horrible support from Bigbasket.com

            I ordered a pack of 6 brown eggs and received 2 color-dipped low quality eggs in the pack.

            I have trusted them and they have broken my trust.

            I am a thyroid patient and this could effect the quality of my health very seriously as normal eggs contain soy.

            I buy Kansal Agro omega 3 rich eggs too from Big Baskte and now after this incident I request you probe an investigation into all the food items they are embezzling with as nothing may seem what it is.

              Yet again i am here to expose the payment frauds that are happening in bigbasket.com. Bb has released a coupon code for axis bank customers, bbaxis20 - 20% discount for purchases above rs.1000. When i tried this code it got applied and showed me a discount of rs.201.20 (My total purchase value was rs.1006) and i tried making the payment using the axis netbanking, to my surprise the discounted amount got reversed during the payment. When i contacted the customer care they gave me some stupid reason and now here i am with my complaint. The worst part is that i have got an email from big basket after completing the purchase stating the discount as shown below. Consumer's be aware of these tricksters, this company is a fraud company they just tried to woo you with all false promises but trick you. My kind request to al existing and new big basket users, please ignore these guys, don't fall prey.

              Nobody has any clue what to do?? They give some stupid justification but none are no where close to the actual issue. Big Basket should spend some funds on their service rather than spending it for Bollywood bombards.
              Big Basket is a Fraud Company.My order was delayed and promised to refund 10% of the order amount but refunded less than 10%. And deduction some amount from 10% refund by silly reasons stating that previous order extra charges.I will never ever order from Big Basket. Good bye Big Basket...

                Since yesterday i have called big basket around 10 times in which 6 times th executive disconnected my call.
                All of them promised me call back within 15 mins but it never happened. If i call again they will listen to the problem put me on hold and disconnect the call.
                Really frustrated and in future i will stop using big basket now.

                  DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH COmpany. I had horrible two experiences. I had to go out and buy things in the last minute because their delivery person from did not know the area and reported to BB that he called me but I did not pick up phone. Which is lie.

                  They employee people who cannot read signs or follow directions. He wasted my time since morning 7:20AM till 10AM and finally I got a call from BB that they called but I did not answer.

                  THIS COMPANY DESERVES TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS

                    Yesterday, i had ordered amul pure ghee from big basket and it was charged rs 400 on the website.
                    After the delivery when the bill was handed over, i was shocked to see that for one packaged amul ghee 1 ltr cartoon i had ordered, they were charged rs 400. But mrp written on the labels of the amul ghee box was only rs 390.
                    Ideally, the customer should have been charged rs 390, which is the mrp incl of all the taxes but here the big basket exaggerated the mrp from rs 390 to rs 400 which is wrong and illegal. Thus, selling at a price higher than the mrp is a clear violation of the packaged commodities rules.
                    When i called to customer care of big basket they are saying "we will credit rs 10 to your big basket account". They not even ask me to share the screenshot of package. I really don't care about rs. 10.
                    Please don’t lose your loyal customer base.Invest more in your service and quality, invest less in your advertisements. Be loyal to your customers. No marketing strategies work better than good customer service. We will take strict action.

                      I bought 7 kilos of alphonse mangoes in total in 2 days, the price was rs.69 the first day an then rs.79. Every mango that i have cut already are like the ones shown below. I suspect it to be ripened using artificial means (Carbide - illegal chemical ripening). I am planning to handover the mangoes to the chennai corporation officials with a complaint against big basket, request everyone not to fall prey. Thought i should create an awareness.

                      This was my first and worst experience with Big Basket, these people need to be careful with what they deliver. The reason i have invested so much time and energy to show some light on this issue is because they need to understand the seriousness of the nature of business they do.                       I would urge the customer's of Big Basket to be very careful in assessing the products that are delivered to them. I work n live in Pune and have come to Chennai for my vacation along with my daughter, as the Puneites might be aware off, its Hapus (Alphonso) season now. Was not able to carry more than 3 kgs for my daughter and wanted to buy some good quality Alphonso mangoes in Chennai (my daughter loves them). I looked around and was not happy or maybe i was not ready to trust the local vendors and decided to purchase it online. Carried away by the infamous Big Basket and Sharuk's recommendation i took a chance. The items were delivered promptly and neatly packed, no complaints there. My relative who is also my neighbor also got carried away by the promptness in delivery and packaging and requested me to buy a few kgs for her. The mistake i did was without checking thoroughly i ordered again.To my surprise every mango i cut was in a very bad un-eatable condition. I understood that something was fishy and stopped everyone from consuming it.

                      The next part is the customer care, to be frank i was initially not able to corner down the reason. The images you see above were taken during later stages. I was initially a little hesitant to accuse them o[censored]sing carbide for ripening. I repeatedly wrote several emails followed by reminders but there was no response at all. Then i understood that they do not understand the normal language and decided to teach them a lesson.

                        I have ordered items vide order no. Mmo[protected] on 26th may 2016 which was supposed to get delivered today 27.05.2015 before 7.30 pm. But now it is 10.20pm still not delivered. It has caused me utter inconvenience and hence i have decided to think if i could ever order with them. I am concerned whether they have fled away with my money and even after trying to reach them and writing several emails didn't help. I am considering to file an fir u/s 420 of ipc against them.

                          I have made an express delivery with big basket and i was supposed to get my delivery by thu 26 may 2016 before 07:32 pm and for the same payment was done online mode. I have not yet received my delivery.
                          As per their website i have tired calling them on[protected] with no response and in addition big basket customer care number tel: +[protected]Blr) seems to be invalid. Hence i was unable to reach out to anyone regarding the delivery. I have ordered perishable items like fish, i have no clue when the delivery would be delivered and in what condition.

                            I have ordered alphonso mangoes 6pcs, when i cut them each and every mangoe was damaged inside.this is because of your business tactics.how could you buy unripen mangoes and sell those for ripen cost and after some days they have been damaging inside, no one knows by seeing it outside.This is the worst quality product recieved by me ever in online orders.along with mangoes i have also ordered watermelon which was also the same issue of quality

                              My oder number is mmvo[protected] and j-mmvo[protected] was placed 3 days ago and delivery scheduled yesterday 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm i was waiting for the same but around 8 pm i got call from big basket that vehicle broke down and deliver tomorrow morning slot 7:30 am to 9:30 am but there was no delivery either any information.

                              I ve called customer care at 11 am for asking status but they said they also not aware of courier person status, big basket has very poor logistics service, why customer should trust on big basket?

                              Big basket you just waisted my 2 days waiting for order, this is my 2nd time bad experience, henceforth i will not order from big basket.

                                I ordered a-mvdvo[protected], a-mvdo[protected], a-mvdvo[protected] at 19/05/16 at 2.30p. M. & 7.30p. M. My order is cancelled by big basket team at 9.56p. M. On 20/05/16. I called to customer care at that time they inform me item are out of stock, but actually all item in stock. I told him why you cancelled without informing me. I ordered item are in promotional offer & amount is less as compare today. I called bigbasket 20 times but no called back from him, they always told me i will raange called back within 30mins. I also e mailed to bignasket 5 times but no reply.

                                  I want to highlight a few things about the bigbasket online store. For the past 2 weeks i am constantly calling wasting my time enery and money to speak to unsupportive bigbasket customer care people. My complaints were on the bad quality of products delivered and still they keep delivering so even after promiising to deliver good quality. I feel really cheated with my last order which was ordered on friday 20th. There were 5 items in the order and as usal some products on the standard delivery list comes after 2 days (Better walk to a store and buy). This order was supposed to get delivered on sunday morning and suddenly they cancelled the order saying products were not availble. On sunday i made repeated calls to customer care and dorthy from customer care promised me that orders are getting delivered today monday (23rd) and she promised me to refund the amount as a compensation. I got the amount and waited for the products there was no calls no messages no updates. I did not get these essentials and relied on this stupid pathetic service. My order again did not get delivered. Its already 3 days. I do not know whether i may even get these products because bigbasket is the most unreliable, pathetic and stupid service i have ever seen.Instead of my repeated complaints no actions are taken noone is bothere. Iam completed unhappy with bigbasket and feel really cheated by them. The order says delivered. Order number is ebo[protected].

                                      Hello,

                                      I have ordered apples along with multiple items on 18th may 2016, order no 'dx-mguo[protected]' in express delivery.

                                      Apples delivered by big basket were rotten, so i called them on 19th may at 07.30 pm to arrange pick up (Which in turn was promised by big basket at max 8.35 pm) and they promised to return back my money only after pickup. However, no one showed up till 9.45 pm and then i again called the customer care. They said pick up staff is on way, which was a lie off course.

                                      Again, i called today morning (20th may) and pickup was arranged again to be completed by max 9.07 am. However, no one has arrived till now and its already 10.19 am.

                                      Bigbasket.com — Poor quality of vegetables and fruits

                                      The order which I received this this time was of low quality.the vegetables were half rotten .the watermelon was unripened .the first two service was good ...but this time it was a big disappointment.

                                        This is to inform you that Big Basket are not supplied our company materials on time and update their record that they has successfully delivered the materials now I am chasing for my materials for last 2 days but no use and now i am chasing for my money refund but nobody bother to call me back for this. please raise this compliant and try to give me my money back at the earliest.
