[Resolved] Bigbasket.com — very bad response to customer complaints. | |||||
Yesterday, the big basket delivery guy delivered a whole bunch of things at my residence in error. These goods were meant for another customer in a closeby location. The bill clearly indicated the customers name and apartment name. He also collected an amount if rs. 836 from my dad who was not aware that we had not placed an order. As we regularly order from big basket, he assumed this was our order. When we realized the error made, we i formed your customer service immediately. It took 4 calls and being kept in hold for almost half hour, that we got to speak to someone. They said the delivery guy will pick up the goods and return the money by 7.30pm. When i called customer service at 9pm to ask why no one had come, the guy had no idea what to say and the standard response of "i'll call you back" was offered. Till now there has been no response! The 1-800 number they have doesn't work half the time and when it does, they keep you on hold for ever! Shame on you big basket! You have betrayed a loyal customer! If i don't get my money back, i will lodge a police complaint. Was this information helpful? | |||||
